Kafaalo has ushered in the New Year by continuing their mobile outreach programmes in the health services. Since the outbreak of the civil war, Somalia has been without a central government which has led to the collapse virtually all public institutions such as health. Due to the lack of these basic necessities such as eye treatment or the prescription of eye glasses for the visually impaired, a large part of the population goes without treatment for these ailments. |
